Summary: Tasha and her husband lost custody of their children after a child abuse pediatrician diagnosed abuse, despite their children having medical issues consistent with brittle bones. Expert doctors later confirmed a diagnosis of hEDS and brittle bone disease, but the judge sided with the less experienced child abuse pediatrician. The Department of Children and Families (DCF) terminated parental rights, and the case is currently under appeal, with the family hoping for a positive resolution.
